Thames River Boats operate extra services for numerous events near Kew, Richmond & Hampton Court including the Hampton Court Garden Festival, Hampton Court Palace Festival, Hampton Court Tulip Festival & Kew Gardens' Orchid Festival.

Hampton Court Palace Festival

The Hampton Court Palace Festival takes place between Friday 13th August & Tuesday 24th August 2021. The Hampton Court Festival will see a range of artists; Tom Jones, Nile Rogers, Chic, Van Morrison, Bastille & Keane performing within the grounds of Henry VIII's magnificent Hampton Court Palace.

During the Hampton Court Palace Festival we will be operating our usual service between Richmond & Hampton Court. We may also add additional sailings during the Hampton Court Garden Festival to meet extra demand, any extra sailings will be advertised through our website & social media channels.

All our cruises take place on traditional passenger boats with indoor & outdoor seating & a fully licensed bar.

Hampton Court Garden Festival

The Royal Horticultural Societies annual Flower Show at Hampton Court Palace is the largest outdoor festival of flowers in the UK. This landmark event features show gardens, flower marquees, celebrity talks & shopping outlets all within the grounds of Henry VIII’s magnificent Hampton Court Palace.

During the Flower Show we will be operating our service between Richmond & Hampton Court. With exclusive use of Hampton Court Landing Stage we can take you to or from the show entrance providing a picturesque journey which avoids bustling public transport.

Cockney Sparrow

The Cockney Sparrow was built in 1976 at Eel Pie Island. She is a two level boat with a deceptively large enclosed saloon and an open top deck.

Princess Freda was built in 1926 by T.C. Letcher on the Isle of Wight, and has been restored to a particularly high standard.
